What it makes

Seven ways in, from a photo to a patch of the map. Every picture is a real result, rendered from the model ZynMesh made. Tap one to turn it.

Map area

Zürich’s old town

Pick a rectangle on the map: you get the ground and every building, with its height and roof, coloured by aerial photos where they are free to use.

Place

A street corner

Overlapping photos or a short video of a room, a street or a garden.

A still from the scene: in the app you walk through it.

Drawing

A flanged boss plate

Then changed in words: “make the boss 40 mm tall and the central hole 20 mm”.

Floor plans

A house from its floor plans

One drawing per storey: walls, doors and windows at true scale.

Real estate

A home, outside and in

Photos of a home, outside and in: the outside becomes a model, and each room a scene you can walk through.

How it works

Not quite right? Say what to change, and ZynMesh makes a new version.

A new version in 6 min 38 s. The first stays as it was.

  1. The app’s Create screen: choose what to make from, add photos, then Generate

1 Show it, or say it

Take photos with the guides in the app, or type a few words. Or add a drawing, floor plans or photos of a home, or pick a rectangle on the map.

  2. The app making a model: each stage as it happens

    2 ZynMesh builds it

On GPUs, in seconds to minutes, and you see each stage. Leave the app if you like: it tells you when the model is ready.

  3. The kettle in the app, with Download, View in your room and Change it

    3 Take it with you

Turn it, see it in your room, download it, share a link, or change it in words.

Where your data goes

What you send, who handles it and for how long, in plain words. The privacy notice has the detail.

  • Kept in Germany, until you delete it

Your photos, words and models are kept on our server in Germany, at OVHcloud. The largest extra files (splat PLY files and point clouds) are deleted after 30 days; the model and its pictures stay.

  • Made on rented GPUs

The 3D work runs on Modal’s cloud GPUs. What you send goes there to make the model; the files made there are deleted once they’re back on our server.

  • Words and some photos go to OpenAI

When you describe an object, or ask for the unseen sides of a single photo, OpenAI’s GPT Image model pictures it first. Your words, and those photos, are sent to OpenAI.

  • Drawings and room photos go to Google Gemini

Gemini reads technical drawings and sorts the inside photos of a home into rooms.

  • Maps use open data

Map areas are built from open elevation data, buildings from OpenStreetMap and Overture Maps, and government aerial photos where they’re free to use, such as swisstopo’s in Switzerland.

  • Yours, unless you share it

Only you see your models, unless you share a link to one. The people who run ZynMesh can see models, to help when something fails.

  • No tracking

No ads, no tracking and no analytics, here or in the app. This site sets no cookies; the app sets one, to keep you signed in.

Questions

Who can use ZynMesh?

People we invite. Request access and tell us what you’d like to make. If we can give you access, an invite comes by email: choose a password and start.

What does it cost?

Access is by invitation, and there is no public price. Tell us what you need when you request access.

Which phones and computers does it work on?

iPhone with Safari, Android with Chrome, and recent desktop browsers. Add it to your home screen to use it like an app. On iPhone that is also what lets it tell you when a model is ready.

What files do I get?

GLB and OBJ for objects, homes and buildings. STEP, STL and the CadQuery code for exact parts. Gaussian splats (SPZ and PLY) and a mesh for places. The recognised plan as JSON for floor plans. On iPhone and Android you can also see objects in your room.

How long does it take?

From 19 s for a map area to about 9 minutes for an exact part. Most objects on this page took under 3 minutes.

How many models can I make?

Each account has limits, set by the people who run ZynMesh: by default 50 a day and 3 at a time. The app shows what is left.

How long are my models kept?

Until you delete them. The largest extra files (splat PLY files and point clouds) are deleted after 30 days; the model itself and its pictures stay.

Can I change a model?

Yes. Say what to change, like “make it brass” or “the back has a zip pocket”, and ZynMesh makes a new version. Exact parts take changes in millimetres.

Make your first model.

ZynMesh is invite only. Tell us who you are and what you’d like to make.
